I’m sure there are many details being worked out behind the scenes as we speak, but I thought I would start a thread for the community to discuss the sort of implementations we would like to see with BabelFish’s xUSD “meta stablecoin”. Can we issue crypto-collateralized xUSD loans fairly immediately? Could we make that possible using staked SOV and/or staked FISH as collateral? I could imagine that being a powerful tool to multiply liquidity AND governance. Loan to value ratio could be configured to auto-top up and ultimately, if loans are defaulted, the staked governance token collateral would be liquidated. The portion subject to early unstake slash penalty would not be eligible as collateral.
