I don’t see the need for another token. Origins functionality can all exist under Sovryn. We need to strengthen not to dillute Sovryn. I wrote a post about it but I am waiting for mods to approve it. I don’t also know why censorship here. It’s retarded.
We had a robust challenge session over the last several months in this forum and the verdict is clear, the community supports the Origins Subprotocol.
Now let’s all get on board to support this new venture and work to make it successful together.
To the moon through Origins!
Omg what political response. You could have not responded at all, it would be the same for me. Luckily, I spoke with the leadership of Sovryn and found out that truly there is a reason for Origins and I like it. Cheers!
This makes a lot of sense. I was skeptical of having another token at first.
As long as SOV stakers get a % airdrops of tokens launching through subprotocols, a % of fees collected through OG go to SOV stakers, and OG and any other protocol has no voting rights to SOV like SOV stakers do… than I am all for this!
We need subprotocols to scale and vote or we wouldn’t be able to grow exponentially, and if SOV stakers are allowed to vote on eliminating bad actors then this would make sense.
I like to equate SOV to ETH but it’s FAR better. Imagine if ETH had to vote on every altcoin that was built on its blockchain and all voting was done for each one… that would be awful for scaling, innovation, and growth.
Thanks for this break down.
do you know why Sovryn is imensly better than eth? It is chain agnostic. If any better L2 solution will come. Sovryn will simply adapt and migrate/integrate with the best solution.
You will always have a stack like this:
Base layer: BITCOIN
Secondary/Scalable Layer: the best BTC (Symbiotic) Layer Two(not parasitic like Mintlayer or Stacks)
Services/Aplication Layer: Sovryn - the most secure Bitcoin deFi ecosystem
That is why Sovryn is the ultimate Beast.
