There is nothing in the information provided on why Sovryn could not have developed this same technology within the SOV ecosystem. I invested in Sovryn to do exactly what BitcoinOS is intended to do. So why is there now a separate token for BitcoinOS? And why would Sovryn stakers only get 10%, it should be much more? Now that the proposal is for issuing a new token for BitcoinOS, please provide more information on what the tokenomics will be for BitcoinOS and how is BOS intended to derive value? How will SOV derive value from BOS other than receiving a measly 10% share (distributed to stakers)? There is very little information about how the BOS will be distributed (other than future SIPs to determine). I think that should be made upfront right now before agreeing to the BOS token and its distribution. Will BOS token distribution be based on how much SOV is staked or a combination of both amount and time (i.e., voting power)? I think there are too many questions that need to be answered first before we can move forward with this proposal.

Sovryn doesn’t have the resources to produce something like BOS.

Many of us have stated our beliefs about 10%, but the fact of the matter is, we don’t really have any leverage on that front, as BitcoinOS has been a separate project since the original SIP. At this point, we may well be happy with what we are getting, and as Inglandia mentioned on telegram, 10% or nothing.

As far as distribution goes, it makes the most sense to talk about this after the allocation is SIP’d and certain. As it’s not really in the scope of what BitcoinOS team decides.

Initiative seems to be good, everyone is expecting to get a bit from those 10%, which is in fact tiny, but what about SOV token? Why we’re focusing on launching new standards and tokens instead strengthening our own? How can SOV benefit from this? Maybe I’m short-sighted but dont see any true benefits for SOV holders…

If the $BOS token launch is mildly successful, it will be worth hundreds of millions or more on TGE. This could represent a windfall of tens of millions of dollars to Sovryn, or more than 10X than the total staker revenue in all of $SOVs history. That’s on one project launch. I’d say it represents significant value to $SOV.

VOTE LIVE:

This SIP is an important step forward for Sovryn. As discussed in recent community calls and chats, it could impact the project’s future roadmap, potentially from dapp to freedom incubator. Strong voter turnout will be welcome, and If you hold any VP, it would be good if you could connect your wallet and VOTE, whichever way you see fit.

This vision is truly beautiful, but seems to be only a vision… Based on what you estimate, that launch of one token will bring tens of millions to another, not related anyhow token?

Sovryn will retain 10% of the token it itself launches. Then Bitocarcy voters will decide what to do with it. Some of it could go to stakers, some to the treasury… whatever the voters decide. Do you see how that value is passed on?

Not at all, personally I’m not counting on some 10% of some not-existing-yet token with unknown tokenomics to save SOV. I would rather expect team to work on real utilities and marketing instead
