SIP-Treasury - Establishing a fee driven treasury for Bitocracy

Description

Provided SIP-88 passes and bitocracy regains control of FeeSharingCollector, this new SIP-Treasury would update the implementation contract for FeeSharingCollector to divert some percent of all fees collected by the contract to an existing GovernorVault contract owned by Bitocracy. This being either GovernorVaultAdmin or GovernorVaultOwner. This percent of fees and which contract to use should be discussed and come to a consensus by the users before this SIP is ready for a vote.

Proposed change

Exact code to be shared when fully tested and finalized.

Thank you all for your support and contributions in helping these ideas progress! Please help discuss the future of Sovryn’s treasury and any ideas you have to improve the foundation of this sip. I’m really so excited to see the community getting motivated again! I hope no one feels left out.

To start the discussion off, I’m tinking we start with 10% of the fees diverted to the treasury and if the team can share some insight into the financial situation and needs access to more funding then we can vote to increase it once we get some understanding of the situation. 10% is arbitrary, but we need a starting point to converse

This, in my view, is another blind decision — taken without a complete assessment of second-order effects without a clear operational continuity plan.

For these reasons, if this SIP proceeds in its current form, I will vote NO out of concern for systemic stability and execution continuity.

Those voting in favor should be fully aware that they are assuming responsibility for the operational and financial consequences that may follow.

The aggression in this post reads almost as a threat? im not sure why this trigger you so much, but i can only assume you are a team member & if thats the case; Why is it an issue to the point that the world is falling apart just because community wants bitocracy to force to ” economic transparency “ in lack of better words.

makes you wonder what this money from the fees is really being needed for, and if transparency is an issue it sounds like its not supposed to be spent on Sovryn.

Mike you’re welcome to vote No on whatever we come up with. That’s why we’re bringing this to a vote ;). That’s exactly why doing all these actions through Bitocracy is so important for everyone, including you and the team :pink_heart:
